Syd Mills Manufacturing was established in 1993 by Syd Mills.

This business started off long before this in my garage at home.  After running from my garage for about 10 months, as a business I was forced to move out of a residential area by the local council.

I then rented a 200m² factory in Mkondeni.  We found that after three years this factory was far too small and I then extended the outside area by another 200m² which we find still comfortable at this stage.

I started off business making bicycle racks in 1993. The type of work we have done and are currently doing varies from light manufacturing to manufacturing of 35 ton steel bridge in Underberg in 2006 for a film company.

I also do light machining, milling, guillotining, folding and punching mainly for ourselves for various projects.

I have always been recommended by past and present customers for the very high standard of work we deliver. We will always go do the extra 10 miles.  At the moment we work all around KZN and we also have customers in other provinces.
